Migrating Legal Content for Financial Services
Replaced disconnected legacy ECM systems with a standardised document governance framework for a major bank.
Overview
A major bank's legal division was operating on fragmented legacy systems. They were managing a massive volume of sensitive data with no enforced retention policies, inconsistent classification, and mounting compliance risk.
I led the enterprise-scale migration to IBM FileNet, completely rearchitecting their document governance model from the ground up. We standardised the taxonomy across the entire legal division and built a compliant, auditable content infrastructure that was designed to safely scale alongside the institution.
